 Two
Cranes is the culmination of 3 years of hard work, and many more
years of related work experience by Dean Crane and Conne Gibson.
They specialize in the unique field of lapidary bead work in an
ever expanding and wide variety of styles and stone types.
Located
in beautiful Socorro, New Mexico, Two Cranes' handcrafts
each piece they create from raw stone. Dean Crane has previously
been profiled for his unique style in Rock & Gem
magazine,
(February 2000), and Conne Gibson has been featured in an issue of the
Art
Jewelry Magazine (April 2004 - 1.4M PDF)
 Their
experience, ingenuity and dedication for the art form shines
through on each piece they create. There are many examples in
the Bead & Jewelry section
of this site and they travel extensively to bead and lapidary
shows around the country, so be sure to check the schedule
to see if they are coming to a city near you.
Because of the unique nature of
each bead, Two Cranes has no catalog. To purchase beads buyers
may request jpeg photos of some current choices. Requests need
to include choice(s) of color/stone type, sizes (dime, quarter,
half dollar etc.) and possible order quantity.
